Hello again! Time for more drabbles~. I'm excited because I got everything set up into one big scrivener project, and it looks so nice and organized...
Anyway.
7-27-12: Halloween
Characters: Ryo Maeda, Christopher Larkin
He was imagining Chris in them already. Thigh-high, supple brown leather, subtle laces in the back… they would cling to well-toned thighs, enticing him to touch.
They would stretch to fit him, shifting as he moved. They would sound with confidence and brush each other alluringly, moving over soft fabric and skin. They would mold to his lover, and make him unstoppable.
Ryo sighed, and then jumped—he was not alone.
“Ryo…” Chris said carefully, laundry basket in hand, “…Why’re you hugging my costume rental boots?”
He let them fall to the floor. “Don’t be stupid,” he muttered.
7-28-12: Runt (Part 1)
Characters: Eddie Valentine (in kitty form), Keiichiro Sasaki
He was alone now.
He tried with all of his might to call for his brother, only managing a desperate squeak; they must have gotten him while they were sleeping.
It was cold in here, and the floor was rough and wet on one side. He couldn’t see anything above the brown walls that held him. He was scared, and tried to call for his brother again.
But it was a human that peered at him from over the walls. It murmured something to him, and suddenly his paws were dangling as they left the brown box for warm hands.
7-29-12: Runt (Part 2)
Characters: Eddie Valentine (in kitty form), Keiichiro Sasaki
At first Kei was sad when he saw the box, thinking he’d missed out on some free kittens. But then he heard the desolate squeak from inside, and he was horrified.
He asked himself the same questions as he carefully cleaned up the runty black kitten at home. How could anyone abandon an innocent and helpless creature? What would have happened if he hadn’t come along then?
Greatly disturbed, he focused his attentions on the kitten. Warm, dry, and fed, it began to tentatively purr as he stroked soft fur.
Maybe it shouldn’t matter anymore; they had each other now.
7-30-12: Moving On
Characters: Tomoki Yonemura
“It’s me… Tomo.” He wondered suddenly if anyone else ever visited Hide like this. It was hard to say when he always had plenty of cleaning to do around the elegant stone marker.
He took his customary spot in the grass beside Hide’s grave, looking out over the field of the departed. “I’ve met someone,” he told his old friend and ex-lover. A tiny smile played at his lips. “I want you to meet him next time.”
Tenderly, he reached out to touch the cold, polished stone. “I’m happy you found peace. Be happy we found each other, ne?”
7-31-12: Borrowed Bravery
Characters: Christopher Larkin
The library was Chris’ sanctuary. The depth of quiet and solitude was his only comfort in a world that made him the butt of every joke, the victim of every prank.
No one could hurt him here. The librarians did more to keep would-be bullies at bay than any schoolteacher ever could, and he was free to read about and study any world he wanted. They got used to him being there every day without fail, even welcomed the sight of him.
Every time he left, he would be built up just enough to survive until his next visit.
8-1-12: Nice 'n' Easy
Characters: Aki (Brandon Kimura), Ford Wentham
A wig would be far more practical, he knew. While he couldn’t stand the itch or extra maintenance time that came with wigs, he had to wonder if perhaps Ford’s trademark flashiness was rubbing off on him.
Mirrors were still a new thing for him, but he really didn’t recognize himself as he stood over the bathroom sink. He heard Ford return, and waited for him to find him.
A choking noise came from behind him, and he turned.
“B… blond…”
Aki pouted at his dazed partner. “They’re expecting someone with dark hair…”
Ford simply dragged him to the bedroom.
8-2-12: Singular Tastes
Characters: Tomoki Yonemura
He wasn’t sure if he could call this “incognito,” but at least he was alone; he stood out a lot more with his bandmates.
A hat hid long hair and sunglasses intense blue eyes, and he wore simple, casual clothes. He looked both ways before crossing the street, hurrying as a car turned in his direction; his goal was in sight.
He kept his pace meandering and unobtrusive, finally pausing in front of the familiar pink sign before heading inside.
The smell of sugar hit him, and he grinned at the girl behind the counter.
“One double-chocolate swirl, please.”
Anyway.
