Wooooo I did it before midnight finally! Ugh I am so sick this week. Blehhhh.

Lately my drabbles have been serving as writing warm-ups for a new short story I'm doing, so... if they suck, that's my excuse. Though that was kind of their intended purpose in the first place, so meh.

5-16-13: Soundwaves
Characters: Tomoki Yonemura

There wasn’t a single thing about his job that Tomoki didn’t like, even the tedious parts. His bandmates thought it was a little disgusting.

He enjoyed photo shoots because they always meant TY were relevant. He liked giving interviews because they gave him a chance to share his thoughts with the fans. Obviously he loved lives; perhaps most of all, he loved recording.

It was challenging and at times frustrating, but always the most rewarding. At lives he was always very aware of the audience; but in the recording booth, it was just him and his voice, lost in music.

5-17-13: Bandaids
Characters: Shayden Hashimoto, Nozomu Ito

How many messy breakups had Nocchi seen him through now? Shay hadn’t exactly kept count, though any number would be embarrassing.

But this was the first time the other man had ever gone so far as to track down a cheating ex and actually hurt him. Shay’d gotten the shock of his life when Nocchi had come over with not just takeout and a sympathetic shoulder, but a black eye and split lip.

Fussing and fretting, momentarily forgetting his own heartache, he patched his friend and bandmate up, all the while wondering just why Nocchi never let him suffer alone.

5-18-13: Guiding Light
Characters: Torran MacKenna, Jacob Knight

“Lost” was putting it lightly, even Torran knew that. There was no other explanation for why he’d come to this club tonight when he’d never danced in his life, or for why he was allowing this cat-eyed, tattooed man to take him home.

Jake was beautiful. Smooth, tanned skin, lean muscles, soft brown hair, and sinfully plush lips that could convince him to do anything. They’d gotten him to dance, and let Jake have his way with him in the club bathroom before getting him here.

Torran had no idea what he was doing, but it felt terrifyingly right.

5-19-13: Not a Victim
Characters: Christopher Larkin, Justin Nanami

Chris wasn’t sure how or when it happened, but gradually, he became less and less of a target for bullies. He thought he knew why; being with the son of a gangster was either rubbing off on him, or else J.J.’s reach was more widespread than he’d imagined.

Something about the other man made him want to be stronger. He understood his position, that he was a weakness for someone like J.J., and that that made him an easy target for leverage.

It was frightening, the determination that suddenly filled him. He wouldn’t let himself become J.J.’s undoing.

5-20-13: Paranormality (Part 1)
Characters: Carter Valentine, Eddie Valentine

Some might say it was Eddie’s fault; Carter wouldn’t.

True, he hadn’t known of the existence of magic and such until after their eldest sister used it to curse Eddie into vampirism, and yes he’d had to learn some himself in his search for a cure for his brother—but any interest branching from that was purely his own curiosity.

It’d just been practical to record his quests for paranormal activity. What he hadn’t expected was to be approached by producers for a show on parapsychology after a presentation. He couldn’t blame himself for that—maybe just his good looks.

5-21-13: Paranormality (Part 2)
Characters: Carter Valentine, Trevelyn Jones

Hunting ghosts was like playing with fire. If you knew what you were doing things went well, but one misstep could lead to disaster.

Carter liked working with local psychics and mediums whenever he went on a hunt. They often knew more about the local ghosts, and would ensure no malevolent spirits followed him home.

This time they were in Ireland, and the woman was at least eighty years old. She smiled mysteriously as soon as she laid eyes on him.

“You like using your brain, but not your eyes,” she said without preamble, looking pointedly at his assistant, Trev.

5-22-13: Complementary Forces
Characters: Yukio Katsukawa, Tavish Kerr

Those who saw them saw an unlikely couple; those who knew them knew they were perfect together.

Yu, calm and demure outwardly, expressed himself through his fashion designs. And Tav, who expressed himself using his body as his canvas, leaving his mind open, made the perfect real life model.

They were on tour when they discovered Yu was somehow pregnant. A tumultuous and confusing few days passed—then they made their decision.

“What should we name her if it’s a girl?”

Tav thought about yin and yang, and what came of putting them together. He smiled, rubbing Yu’s belly. “Harmony?”

1. Mmm... I bet Yone's so sexy when he gets lost in his recordings...
2. Aww... it's because he loves you, Shay!! Though he would care even if it wasn't romantic love, because he cares about you as a friend too, and hates to see you being hurt.
3. Jake has that kind of affect on people Torran. >.> Just accept it and move on (and get laid).
4. Awww!! Chrissss... I love that being with J.J. makes him stronger. *squishes him*
5/6. Hehe, this turned out so cuuuute. And I bet Trev's in the background fiddling with equipment and >////< ing because he heard the old lady.
7. o(>.<)o I know I said Tav would probably scare Yu, but this is just so damn cuuuuute.

And... I just realized I never replied to your comments last week either. WTF us.
