Drabble daaaaay. My life still kind of sucks right now, but oh wells. We'll see what the next week brings.
This week's kind of band-heavy for some reason. >.> And less sad than usual! In fact, nothing's really sad in here, wtf. And another first time writing about a character, and I can't believe it took this long.
8-31-12: Call It Adrenaline
Characters: Brandon Kimura, Ford Wentham
Even now, years later, Brandon couldn’t forget that first kiss.
They had just come offstage after their second encore, and everything was still buzzing electrically inside him. They all high-fived the staff as they passed, and it was only in the dressing room that he turned around and saw Ford.
Their eyes met, warm brown and cool blue. It was gravity and something more pulling them together, and Ford’s hands cupped his face, and they kissed.
Alone or with Ford, he could touch his lips now and still feel the warmth from that kiss. It had never left him.
9-1-12: The Pokey Little Puppy
Characters: Daiki Ishizawa, Yukio Katsukawa
“This is stupid!” Daiki threw down his pencil and shoved his notebook away. “I’m too stupid for this!”
“D-Daiki-kun… please don’t say that…”
Yu got up to retrieve Daiki’s things while his student huffed, and returned quietly to Daiki’s side on the couch. While he had plenty to worry about in his own life, he truly felt bad for Daiki, who really believed what everyone said about him.
He gently offered Daiki the notebook and pencil. “If you k-keep trying, I’ll b-buy you a new Little G-Golden Book…”
Daiki pouted marvelously, but finally gave in.
9-2-12: Star-Struck
Characters: Brandon Kimura, Tomoki Yonemura
He didn’t know what to do with himself; there was no running away now.
There he was—Tomoki Yonemura. Compositional genius, star of the rock charts, and the one person Brandon looked up to the most. He thought he might pass out when Yone approached him.
“You’re the bassist for ROADS! Brandon, right? Brandon Kimura?”
Yone was talking to him—Yone knew his name. And he was smiling.
“Ne, let’s take a picture! BRUCE, COME TAKE OUR PICTURE!!”
Yone’s manager looked nonplussed as he held up Yone’s phone. Brandon didn’t do giddy, but tonight there were stars in his eyes.
9-3-12: Home Cooking
Characters: Hinata Hanazaki, Trevelyn Jones
“Oops—sorry, Hana.”
“S’alright,” Hana smiled, sidestepping Trev to get back to his cutting board. “Too many chefs in the kitchen, right?”
Trev just snorted and stirred his risotto.
It might have been crowded, but this was the first real meal Hana would be cooking for Eddie. Recently he had been able to nibble at scraps, starting with raw meat. Even now Hana was only grilling him a rare steak, but it was remarkable progress.
Sudden tears had Trev offering him a tissue. “Sorry,” he said, taking it with a watery smile.
Trev just shook his head in understanding. “S’alright.”
9-4-12: Inch by Inch
Characters: Alex MacKinzey, Tomoki Yonemura
Sometimes when Tomoki dozed off before him, Alex would watch him and try to pick his favourite body part. Tonight it was Tomoki’s waist.
It was slim, of course, like everything else on the petite man. But it was also strong, with smooth skin over defined muscles. It curved enticingly inward, as if always begging for Alex’s hands. Two dark freckles near his belly button made it perfect.
He stirred softly, as though sensing Alex’s gaze. Sleepy blue eyes opened, and smiled. “What’re you up to?”
Alex kissed his shoulder, sliding his hands over Tomoki’s waist. “Just admiring the view.”
9-5-12: Pen to Paper
Characters: Christopher Larkin
My name is Christopher Larkin, and I want to be a writer.
He stared down at the otherwise empty page in his notebook in stunned silence, the faint ringing in his ears quickly fading away.
How long he had struggled with that question—what do I want to be when I grow up? While he had so many hobbies he enjoyed, and excelling in school came naturally to him, nothing he had come up with had ever felt right until this moment.
He crossed out the sentence and began again.
My name is Christopher Larkin, and I am a writer.
9-6-12: To Love
Characters: Brandon Kimura, Ford Wentham
Ford held him tight as he caught his breath, lips still tingling from the kiss. He felt the now familiar tension building low in his belly, and clung to the back of Ford’s shirt.
“Brandon?”
His name soft on Ford’s lips only sweetened the ache, and he knew he was finally ready. Pulling back to meet his bandmate’s eyes, he gave a small nod.
Ford kissed him again and hugged him close, and scooped him up into his arms. Brandon shut his eyes, feeling the bed coming closer. He felt nervous, but he couldn’t imagine giving himself to anyone else.

I even thought up some sad ones at times but didn't feel like writing them! I must sekritly be on something.
